Though native to South America, this Iresine herbstii has found a stunning new home in Uganda’s fertile earth. I captured it near one of the villages where OIGOK helps orphaned children thrive. It stood out like royalty among the greens, echoing the bold spirit of youth and resilience growing around it. This shot is a celebration of global beauty grounded in local purpose.
