Grace of the Giant

An African elephant captured mid-meal in the dense, emerald vegetation of Uganda’s wild lands.

Story:

We were en route to a rural health clinic when this magnificent elephant emerged from the brush. It reminded me of the quiet strength in the people of Uganda—especially the caregivers and children we met through OIGOK. Wild, wise, and grounded, the elephant embodies the dignity and endurance I saw in every village we visited.
